WEC Community Resource Fair

Each winter, WEC hosts an annual Community Resource Fair. The fair connects 40+ WEC community partners and their resources with each other and our community of over 800 individuals in the DMV area.

WEC works to support and empower our community by connecting them with partners who work in many different fields. Our partners provide various services, support, and resources, including related to

  • Childcare
  • Employment
  • Finance
  • Health
  • Housing
  • Immigration
  • Legal aid
  • Local government resources

In addition to connecting partners with the WEC community, WEC aims to support and uplift non-profit partners by creating an opportunity for partners to connect with one another. Improved from its original versions prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual fair now includes an exclusive networking event to introduce non-profit partners to each other's staff and resources, opening the door for new potential partnerships before tabling at the fair.
